You Know When You Know

You know when you knowWe’ve all experienced them – moments of complete and utter clarity. There is often no explanation, no foretelling, no definitive or traceable path… there is only clarity. Weeks, months, or even years of trying, planning, figuring, and work all seem to be unimportant and even unnecessary when clarity comes. And yet, the truth is that all of the time, work, and energy all contributed and brought you to the clarity. Think of it as perfect timing and divine order. Everything happens for a reason, and so it is with clarity. When clarity opens your eyes to what was already within you or right in front of you, it feels as if it couldn’t possibly be any other way. And there’s no way to force clarity; it simply comes when it comes. And as my dad used to say “You know when you know, and not a moment sooner”. Now, that’s Powerful!

Very well put – thanks so much for the insight! I guess the challenge is to have the TRUST in ourselves before the clarity comes. The Trust that we have the clarity within us and that it WILL emerge. It is these moments of doubt that drive us off course, chase after the bright shiny objects and get us down the rabbit hole.

I agree Ling. To trust and have faith that all is well in each moment is something that allows clarity to flow to us because then we are expecting it and open to it.
