What a swirl of activity has been taking place in my life over the past several months. Some of it was really great and completely joy-filled – like moving to a new home, mini-vacation with mom and sis, and two new book launches. And some of it was not so great, tough to handle, and even heart-breaking – a nasty cold, mix-ups and mess-ups with some business stuff, and the loss of our sweet nephew Sean.
How could it be that we experience such a wide range of emotions in a relatively short period of time?
It’s called life.
I believe we are here to expand our spiritual selves through a vast number and quality of experiences. We get to choose how we manage it all and how we feel about what’s happening around us and to us. We also get to choose what we do about it all along the way.
The specific experience we have is not relegated to the event or circumstance at hand, instead it is a cumulative effect that encompasses everything we’ve ever experienced in the past that has led us to this very moment and the very feelings we are choosing at the exact moment we’re having the experience.
I sure feel like I should know how to handle all of this with ease by now. I mean, I’ve observed others, I’ve studied and practiced, and certainly I’ve lived a lot of life in my 50+ years on this beautiful planet. And so I feel that I should easily be able to find peace and ease no matter what – and yet sometimes it eludes me. The good news is, I still have hope.
What I know for sure…
I know that these experiences will help me grow and continue to shape me as an individual. I know that I am protected and guided by God and Angels. I know that as long as I remain with an open heart and open mind, I will not only survive, I will thrive.
I know that you can experience and live this too.
I invite you to share in the lessons I’ve learned by reading my new book, Powerful Intention Everyday gratitude Book II. It delves into my heartfelt intention to help people like you and me to feel good everyday and to live in a high vibration embraced by the grace of God.
