If you ever doubt that there is abundance in the world, all you need do is look around you. There is an abundance of beauty in nature. Trees, flowers, grass, butterflies, birds, rain, clouds… these are the bounty of Mother Earth. As you look to the people around you, you will see kindness and helpfulness, laughter and jopowerfuly, teaching and sharing, love and compassion… these are the bounty of humanity. As you look to the material things around you, you will see practical tools for ease of living, technological advances popping up each day, engineering masterpieces like bridges, cars and computers… these are the bounty of the resourcefulness of the mind. As you look into the soul of yourself and others, you will see the depths of love and peace, inherent understanding, openness, beauty and connection… these are the bounty of spirit.
If you ever doubt that there is abundance in the world, all you need do is look around you.
You will know that abundance is real and that it is a state of mind that you can tap into anytime you desire. You need not look far, so long as you are looking with eyes that expect to see the good that is always there and available to you.
You will see what you expect, so expect to see abundance. And you will. Now, that’s Powerful!
Just want to let you know how this incredible verse hit me.
I just got off the phone with my son, who lives in Atlanta, has a family, and just found out his employer is closing down.
His mortgage is covered for a couple of months, but that’s it.
I will be passing this on to him – as well as my love and faith in him.
But the words of your verse will impact him in a very large way. That’s the way he sees the world – always did – even as a child. Always saw the positive of a situation – no matter how negative it seemed to anyone else.
Thank you for sharing these words with me – they are profound!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about this post. It sounds as though your son’s outlook will bring him comfort and ease, even as he moves through this new situation. Most likely, as his mother, you helped him in learning this valuable outlook that will serve him and his family. I am grateful to share my own experiences, and I find that simply saying or writing the words brings calm to me and others. Thank YOU for sharing your thoughts with me.
with gratitude and love,
