Sayings, Thoughts, and Attraction – & Superstition

Superstition

Superstition

I don’t really consider myself to be superstitious, and yet when Friday the 13th rolls around I must admit that I do think about it. I don’t schedule anything too important and I don’t plan anything with too many moving parts where something could go wrong. And if I look back I believe I even blamed some unfortunate occurrences on things like the date or a black cat crossing my path. I also don’t walk under ladders, and for years I wore lucky red socks. So maybe I am a sucker for a few superstitions and old wives tales.

Is there any merit to superstitions? You bet. Whatever we hold as true in our minds and however we feel about it helps us create the experience for us – whether it’s positive or negative. Because I know this, I do my best not to buy into the negative or fearful stuff, and to hold on tight to positive signs and good luck charms!

Sayings, Thoughts, and Attraction

“When it rains, it pours. Good things happen in threes. Great minds think alike.” Sayings like these are perfect examples of the Law of Attraction, which means that which is like unto itself is drawn. Does this really play out in all of life?  I think so.

Have you ever noticed that when you’re feeling happy, free, excited or loving that good things seem to keep coming your way?  Or when you’re feeling gloomy, sad, worried or in the depths of despair that nothing goes right for you?  It’s because you’re a magnet for whatever ‘vibes’ you are exuding. The Universal Laws are in play whether you’re thinking about them or not—just like the speed limit laws.

The only way to change what’s coming to you is to change what you’re putting out there.

This is sometimes easier said than done… but as with all things, it is first a matter of awareness. You must keep your dominant intent top of mind. I would suggest that you make your dominant intent to FEEL GOOD. To feel it, you must first think it… easy as pie, right?  Speaking of pie, if pie makes you feel good—have a piece. That’s what I mean by easy.

Another way to say it is, think about what you’re thinking about, because thoughts become things. Now, that’s Powerful!
